Armed Man Shot Dead While Attempting to Breach Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Estate

Florida: An armed man was shot and killed by U.S. Secret Service agents early Sunday after he allegedly tried to unlawfully enter the Mar-a-Lago estate of former U.S. President Donald Trump in Florida.

Officials said the individual, believed to be in his early 20s, breached the secure perimeter of the high-security property at around 1:30 a.m., triggering an immediate response from security personnel. Secret Service agents, along with a deputy from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, opened fire during the confrontation.

Authorities stated the suspect appeared to be carrying a shotgun and a fuel can at the time of the incident. His identity has not yet been made public.

According to Trump’s public schedule, the former president was in Washington, D.C., over the weekend and was not present at the Florida estate when the incident occurred.

In an official statement, the U.S. Secret Service confirmed that the armed individual was neutralised after unlawfully entering the secured perimeter. The matter remains under investigation.
