New Delhi: Fiji’s Prime Minister Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka landed in New Delhi this morning, beginning his four-day official visit to India — his first in the current capacity.
Rabuka, accompanied by his wife Sulueti Rabuka, Minister of Health and Medical Services Ratu Atonio Lalabalavu, and senior officials, was received at the airport by Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar.
During the visit, the Fijian leader will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday and also call on President Droupadi Murmu.
The Ministry of External Affairs said the visit highlights the deep-rooted partnership between India and Fiji, reaffirming a shared commitment to strengthen cooperation across sectors and expand people-to-people ties.
