DPS Bokaro scripts new history in CBSE Class 12 Exam

Bokaro: Around 88.78 per cent of students have passed in Class XII examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) this year; the results were declared on Monday.

The pass percentage among girls is 92.15 per cent and among boys, it is 86.19 per cent. Girls have done better than boys by 5.96 per cent; the pass percentage among transgender students is 66.67 per cent, the official statement said.

According to the statement issued by CBSE, 38,686 students have scored above 95 per cent marks, and 1,57,934 students have scored more than 90 per cent marks in CBSE class 12 examination.

Proving their mettle Jharkhand’s Bokaro students once again performed exceptionally well in the Class XII examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the results were declared on Monday.

Adyasha Mishra student of DPS Bokaro took away the top honour with 98.8 per cent in Science stream, in Commerce stream, Ritu student of Holy Cross Bokaro scored 98.2 per cent while Nitish Kumar Mahato student of Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Mimannta student of Pentecostal School respectively scored 98 per cent marks in Arts stream, claimed the school authorities.

Performing exceptional 447 students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya scored above the distinct marks in different subjects, informed PR official.

Meanwhile, this year DPS Bokaro students etched their names in the records of the school, out of 464 students who appeared in the exam this year, 127 students secured more than 95 per cent marks, 333 students secured above 90 per cent marks while 450 students secured more than 80 per cent marks. The pass percentage is 100 per cent with the School Average Aggregate being around 91.47 per cent in All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (AISSCE) 2020, informed school PR official.

The ten toppers in Science Stream are Adyasha Mishra 98.8 per cent, Ajeet Kumar with 98.2 per cent, Utkarsh Aditya and Vishruti Singh with 98 per cent, Rahul Shrestha and  Pranshu Gaur with  97.8 per cent, Akshat Raj Singh, Priyanshu Raman, Prerna Swarnim with 97.6  per cent, Abhishek Anand with  97.40 per cent, Ankur Dubey, Sheetal Mishra and Sourav Pandey with 97.20 per cent, Aditya Kumar Singh and Akio Apollo Bishwal with 97.00 per cent, Kumar Kislay, Manisha, Shivam Raj with 96.80 per cent whereas Abhiroop Singh, Akash Kumar, Kumar Varun, Rohini and Vedprakash Mishra secured 96.60 per cent marks, he informed.

In the Commerce Stream, Pragati Singh topped with 96.6 per cent. The other toppers are Sahil Agarwal with 95.80, Abhishek Anand with 95.40, Khushi Priya and Mahak Chandak with 95.00 whereas Aayushi Bharadwaj secured 94.80 per cent marks.

Gangwar, Principal DPS Bokaro said, “The scintillating results of the students are a reflection of the relentless efforts of the teacher and the school that work with children and help them achieve the goals they set for themselves. The AISSCE is the final stepping stone in their school life and I am glad to say that the teams of students and teachers have made us all proud.

“I wish them good luck for the competitive world ahead, and bless them to achieve their goal, stand out in the crowd and be true leaders, a quality their alma mater is known for,” he added.
