Boakro: The 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Parakram Divas celebrated with pomp and show at Chandrapura Thermal Power Station (CTPS), a unit of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) on Saturday.
CTPS officials paid rich tributes were paid to Bose on the occasion of his birth anniversary. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Engineer and Project Head Subodh Kumar Gupta said that as soon as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s name comes, we Indians feel patriotic.
He said that the leader spent a significant time of his life for the independence of the country. We have to keep this freedom untouched. Today we are all celebrating Netaji’s might as Parakram Divas. We have to take Netaji’s ideas, thoughts and take the country towards progress and save the country from evil eyes.
Besides others, Chief Engineer Subhash Singh, Sathendra Kumar Sharma, Deputy General Manager Abhay Srivastava, Subodh Mishra, Sushil Mishra, M. Rangaswamy, PK Jha, Akshay Kumar, officers and employees of CTPS were present on occasion.
