RNS: The former head of Dera Sacha Sauda Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and four others have been awarded life imprisonment after conviction in 2002 Ranjit Singh Dera Sirsa Manager’s murder case.
The Judge of special CBI court in Panchkula, Haryana, Sushil Kumar Garg also pronounced a fine of 30 lakh rupees under section 302 and one lakh rupees under section 506 to Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. The other four co accused were also fined by the court besides life imprisonment. They have to pay a fine of one lakh rupees each, 50 thousand rupees under 506 and 50 thousand rupees under section 302.
