RNS: In the Delhi excise policy case, CBI summoned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
After Delhi LG Vinai Kumar Saxena ordered a CBI probe into alleged anomalies in the Delhi excise policy 2021-22, Kejriwal was summoned by the CBI on Sunday, officials said.
CBI had lodged FIR against 15 accused in this case, for alleged violation of rules and procedural lapses in the new liquor policy. CBI detained former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in this matter.
K Kavitha, Telangana Chief Minister’s daughter, was also questioned about the liquor policy. After corruption suspicions, the new liquor policy was overturned.
