Amarnath Yatra to commence from 1 July; registration from 17 April

RNS: A 62-day Shri Amarnathji Yatra is scheduled to begin on 1 July from Jammu and Kasmir and to be concluded on 31 August this year. The Yatra would begin at the same time on both routes, the Pahalgam track in the Anantnag district and the Baltal track in the Ganderbal district.

On Friday, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired the 44th Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board meeting and evaluated registration, helicopter services, camps, service providers, langars, and Yatri insurance. Online and offline registration for the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra begins on April 17.

All visiting devotees and service providers will receive top-notch healthcare and other services from J&K. Before Pilgrimage, telecom services will work. On Friday, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced the dates for the holy pilgrimage and registration, promising a seamless and hassle-free experience.

The LG said all stakeholder departments are coordinating to provide housing, power, water, security, and other Yatra-related services. He ordered officials to maintain cleanliness and conduct sanitation and waste control measures.

Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) will broadcast morning and evening Aarti (Prayers) live worldwide. Shri Amarnathji Yatra’s Google Play Store app provides real-time Yatra, weather, and online services.
