Giridih: In a significant development for railway enthusiasts and travellers alike, Jharkhand’s first Intercity Express, featuring a state-of-the-art Vistadome coach, was ceremoniously flagged off from Giridih Railway Station on Tuesday.
The introduction of this Vistadome coach promises to offer a captivating and immersive experience for commuters travelling from Ranchi to Giridih.
The highlight of this newly inaugurated train is undoubtedly the Vistadome coach, boasting a transparent roof that grants passengers an uninterrupted view of the magnificent skies overhead.
Birendra Kumar, the Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of the Hajipur zone in the East Central Railway, expressed, “This remarkable addition will treat passengers to a unique and picturesque journey as they traverse breathtaking landscapes, including hills and lush woods.”
The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished personalities, including Union Minister Annapurna Devi, Jamua MLA Kedar Hazra, Sadar MLA Sudivya Kumar Sonu, Gandey MLA Sarfaraz Ahmed, Zilla Parishad President Muniya Devi, and Dhanbad DRM Kamal Kishore Sinha. Together, they flagged off the maiden voyage of Train No. 03309, the New Giridih-Ranchi Intercity Express.
Minister Annapurna Devi, DRM Kamal Kishore Sinha, and other esteemed dignitaries enjoyed the maiden journey in the Vistadome coach, relishing the scenic vistas and unique travel experiences.
Introducing the Vistadome coach is expected to enhance the travel experience for passengers on this route, making the journey not just a means of transportation but also a memorable and scenic adventure.
