Bokaro: The Sai Baba Temple in Sector 6B celebrated its 21st foundation day with vibrant festivities on Wednesday. The event featured a series of religious ceremonies, including worship, Archana, and Havana, followed by an extensive poojanotsav that encompassed Kankar Aarti, Mangal Snan, Afternoon Aarti, Sunset Aarti, and Evening Aarti. The evening concluded with a lively Bhajan session and the distribution of Mahaprasad.
The evening bhajan program showcased performances from acclaimed artists Arun Pathak, Vishwanath Goswami, Prakash Kumar, and Sanju Devi. Arun Pathak enthralled attendees with his soulful Sai bhajans, while Prakash Kumar and Sanju Devi delivered a range of devotional songs. Vishwanath Goswami added a special touch by accompanying the performances on the dholak.
Temple manager Rakesh Srivastava reflected on the temple’s growth over the years, noting the addition of several deities to the premises, including Lord Shani, Lord Ganesh, Lord Dattatreya, Mother Santoshi, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Dwarika Mai, Chavdi, and Shri Chitragupta Temple.
The celebration was well-attended by prominent figures such as Rakesh Srivastava, Anuradha Srivastava, Neha Kumari, Pramod Kumar Upadhyay, Shivam Pandey, Kiran Devi, and Ramavtar Singh. The event was a testament to the devotion and community spirit of the attendees, coming together to honour the enduring legacy of Sai Baba.
