Bokaro: On the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, students from the primary wing of Chinmaya Vidyalaya organized a Swachhata Diwas to honor the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Enthusiastic participation from first and second graders highlighted the event, which included a special prayer meeting held in the Tapovan auditorium. Class 2 students presented a colorful program that captivated the audience.
School Principal Suraj Sharma congratulated the students for their efforts, emphasizing the importance of following Gandhi’s principles of truth and non-violence, which he employed in his struggle against British rule. He noted that Bapuji also valued cleanliness, aligning with the day’s theme.

During the senior class prayer meeting, Principal Sharma and Vice Principal Narmendra Kumar paid tribute to Gandhi by offering flowers at his portrait. Students from classes 11 and 12, along with faculty, collectively took an oath to uphold truth, non-violence, and maintain cleanliness in their society and country.
