J&K: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has carried out searches at 12 locations across Jammu, targeting the homes of overground workers (OGWs) linked to newly-formed offshoots and affiliates of banned terrorist organizations such as Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).
During the operation, several incriminatory materials were seized, establishing connections between the terrorists and OGWs.
The searches were based on intelligence reports indicating the infiltration of active terrorists from across the border into Indian territory.
As part of the ongoing crackdown, premises associated with sympathizers and members of these terror outfits were also searched.
