Hanuman Jayanti Celebrated at Chinmaya Vidyalaya

Bokaro: On the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Chinmaya Mission Bokaro organized a spiritually enriching Bhakti Sandhya at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Sector 5. The evening witnessed the collective chanting of Hanuman Chalisa eleven times and a devotional Puja with Ashtottarshatnam, under the guidance of Swamini Sanyuktanand Saraswati Ji.

The event began with a ceremonial Puja performed by Swamini Ji alongside Chairman Biswarup Mukhopadhyay, Secretary Mahesh Tripathi, and Vice-Principal Narmendra Kumar. The school’s music department added to the devotional ambiance with a soulful presentation of bhajans, followed by the chanting of Hanuman Chalisa by teachers Pankaj Mishra and Udit Pandey.

The atmosphere resembled that of a divine temple as students and parents joined the celebration. Notably, 52 students selected from Pitts Modern School, Gomia, and nearby schools for Gita Paath were honored, with 22 students from Chinmaya Vidyalaya receiving special recognition.

Swamini Sanyuktanand Saraswati highlighted the significance of Hanuman Chalisa, describing it as a spiritual shield in the age of Kaliyuga. She emphasized that devotion to Hanuman brings strength, wisdom, humility, and divine grace, calling him the ultimate remover of obstacles and embodiment of selfless devotion to Lord Ram.

Among the notable attendees was Kundan Kumar, CGM – City Management, SAIL Bokaro. The event also saw the participation of Chinmaya Mission office bearers including Treasurer R.N. Mallick, Mission Secretary Harihar Raut, and several school officials. Principal Suraj Sharma conveyed his wishes telephonically.

The musical program was led by Shiben Chakraborty, Rupak Jha, Dinesh Kumar, Jaikishan Rathore, and Rachna Sinha, along with the student music team. The event was gracefully anchored by teachers Anjali and Meenakshi, with coordination by Sanjeev Mishra. The celebration concluded with the distribution of Prasad and Hanuman Chalisa booklets.
