This record-setting feat, officially verified by Guinness World Records, was accomplished on January 20, 2025—a day LIC aptly named “Mad Million Day.” In an unprecedented display of dedication and coordination, 4,52,839 LIC agents across India successfully issued a staggering 5,88,107 life insurance policies within just 24 hours, setting a new global benchmark in the life insurance industry.
