Bokaro: A grand three-day religious celebration marked the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) of Lord Hanuman at the newly constructed Sankatmochan Temple in the Panchvati Sahakari Griha Nirman Samiti premises, Navadih, Chas.
The event drew a large number of devotees and featured a series of traditional rituals and spiritual programs.
The main Pran Pratishtha ceremony was conducted on Wednesday, led by renowned Yagya Acharya Pt. Gopesh Chandra Shastri from Darbhanga, Bihar. The day began with altar worship, followed by Havan Purnahuti, Sundarkand recitation in the evening, and concluded with devotional bhajan-kirtan. Devotees were served prasad in a grand community feast (Bhandara).
The festivities began on Monday with a vibrant Kalash Yatra and Vedi Puja. Tuesday featured extended worship rituals and Adhivas in the evening, leading to the final day’s Pran Pratishtha.
The event was organized under the leadership of Panchvati Committee President Balkrishna Jha and Secretary Vidyanand Chaudhary, who also served as the chief hosts (Yajmans).
Several prominent community members attended, including Krishna Chandra Jha, Prem Chandra Jha, Pramod Kumar Jha Chandan, Shailendra Kumar Mishra, and others, along with hundreds of devotees who came to seek blessings and participate in the spiritual celebrations.
