Gaya: In a major recognition of its growing standards and passenger-centric services, Gaya Airport has secured second place in the Customer Satisfaction Survey conducted by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) among 62 airports across the country.
The biannual survey, carried out by an independent consultant appointed by the AAI, evaluates airports on key parameters such as safety, security, cleanliness, passenger amenities, and overall experience. Feedback is collected directly from travelers, making the results a direct reflection of passenger sentiment.
For the first half of 2025, Gaya Airport emerged as one of the top-performing airports nationwide, surpassing several major hubs. This significant achievement highlights the airport’s consistent focus on service excellence and operational efficiency.
Bangajit Saha, Director of Gaya Airport, attributed the success to coordinated efforts across all departments and stakeholders.
“We analyzed feedback from previous surveys and implemented improvements in collaboration with relevant teams. The result is evident in the overwhelming positive response from passengers,” he said.
He further added that the airport team is energized by the achievement and remains committed to delivering world-class travel experiences to passengers going forward.
The recognition has not only brought pride to the region but also reaffirmed Gaya Airport’s position as a rising player in India’s aviation infrastructure.
