Ranchi: In a high-profile academic gathering, the much-anticipated book “AI-ify Yourself” was unveiled at the G.D. Birla Auditorium of Sarla Birla University, marking a significant push towards AI-driven learning and skill development in the region.
Co-authored by noted academician Dr. Sandeep Kumar and AI expert Dr. Arif Habib, the book aims to simplify artificial intelligence for a wide audience—from students and professionals to entrepreneurs and policymakers.
The launch ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Rahul Purwar, Principal Secretary, Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Jharkhand. Prominent dignitaries in attendance included Prem Shankar Singh, Rajiv Srivastava, H. N. Mishra, Gopal Pathak, C. Jagannathan, and S. B. Dandin.
Addressing the audience, Rahul Purwar described artificial intelligence as “the defining revolution of our time,” emphasizing that such initiatives align closely with India’s New Education Policy and will help prepare youth for a rapidly evolving digital future.
Highlighting the book’s vision, co-author Dr. Sandeep Kumar said it is designed to help individuals “future-proof their careers” by understanding and embracing AI. Dr. Arif Habib added that AI is no longer optional but essential, and the book breaks down complex concepts into simple, practical insights.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, researchers, students, and city intellectuals, reflecting the growing curiosity around AI and its real-world applications.
Adding to the occasion, congratulatory messages were shared by Pro-Chancellor Bijay Kumar Dalan and Rajya Sabha member Dr. Pradeep Kumar Verma, acknowledging the authors’ contribution to advancing AI literacy.
