
Bokaro: Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) will organise the Summer Sports Training Camp–2026 from May 15 to June 2 under the aegis of its Sports and Civic Amenities Department to promote sports culture and nurture young talent.
The camp will be inaugurated on May 15 at 3:30 PM at Mohan Kumar Mangalam Stadium in Sector-4.
Training will be imparted in 12 disciplines — Athletics, Cricket, Football, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Archery, Chess, Hockey and Handball. Cricket training will be open for boys aged 12 to 15 years, while boys and girls between 8 and 15 years can participate in all other sports.
Registration for the camp can be completed at the Cricket Stadium in Sector-4 till May 14 between 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The registration fee has been fixed at ₹250 for cricket and ₹150 for the remaining sports.
The training sessions will be conducted at designated venues under the supervision of qualified coaches and assistants. BSL officials have appealed to children and parents to make maximum use of the initiative aimed at encouraging fitness, discipline and sportsmanship among youngsters.
