Bokaro: Music lovers and artists in Bokaro came together on Wednesday evening for a special musical programme dedicated to the rich legacy of legendary playback singers Suman Kalyanpur and Asha Bhosle. The event, organized by the Swaragini Musical Group in Sector 12, featured soulful renditions of some of the duo’s most memorable songs.
The programme began with singers Arun Pathak, Raman Chaudhary, Purnendu Kumar Singh, Ranju Singh and Shweta Priyadarshini paying floral tributes to the portraits of the iconic singers.
Speaking on the occasion, the artists highlighted the immense contribution of Suman Kalyanpur and Asha Bhosle to Indian film music. They noted that both singers left an indelible mark on the golden era of Hindi cinema with their distinctive voices, versatility and timeless melodies.
The evening witnessed performances of several evergreen songs associated with the two legends, drawing appreciation from the audience. Participants recalled that the musical heritage created by these singers continues to inspire generations of music enthusiasts.
