DPS Bokaro Principal Honored with Rashtriya Shikshak Gaurav Ratna Award 2024 by Nepal’s Vice President

Bokaro: In a remarkable achievement for DPS Bokaro, Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar has been honored with the esteemed Rashtriya Shikshak Gaurav Ratna Award 2024. The award, presented by Nepal’s First Vice President, Justice Parmanand Jha, was bestowed upon Dr. Gangwar during the National Teachers Conference, held at The Indian Society of International Law auditorium in New Delhi, on International Literacy Day.

The ceremony, organized by Antarashtriya Samarasta Manch and Rashtriya Samta Swatantra Manch, saw the participation of a distinguished assembly of dignitaries including former Nepalese Deputy Prime Minister Upendra Yadav, former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Teerath Singh Rawat, former Union Cabinet Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar, Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Ravi Karan Sahu, and Rajasthan MLA Gopal Sharma. The event also featured representatives from 22 countries, including India, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, and several European nations.

Dr. Gangwar was recognized for his outstanding contributions to global educational excellence and his active role in promoting the principles of ‘Panchsheel’—a framework of peaceful coexistence. The award includes a certificate of appreciation, a commemorative plaque, a medal, and a ceremonial shawl.

At the event, which aimed to bolster India-Nepal relations and foster global brotherhood, Dr. Gangwar delivered a compelling presentation titled “India’s Strength, Global Brotherhood and the Global Village,” which received widespread acclaim from attendees.

The DPS Bokaro community is celebrating this prestigious recognition, with Dr. Gangwar attributing his success to the unwavering support of students, teachers, parents, and all stakeholders associated with the school. He emphasized that DPS Bokaro’s global accolades are a collective achievement of the entire school community.

This honor follows Dr. Gangwar’s recent receipt of the European Excellence Educator Award in Paris and numerous international recognitions in countries such as Norway, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Mauritius, and Thailand.
