Raipur : At least six people were killed and several others injured after a passenger train collided with a stationary goods train in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district on Tuesday evening, officials said.
The fatal crash occurred along the busy Bilaspur–Katni section near the Lal Khadan area, when the Korba passenger train slammed into a parked freight rake. The impact was so powerful that several coaches of the passenger train mounted over one another, derailing multiple bogies and leaving passengers trapped amid twisted metal.
