
Bokaro Pays Grand Tribute to ‘Daanveer’ Bhamashah
Bokaro: In a powerful reminder of India’s legacy of sacrifice and nation-first spirit, Bokaro on Tuesday witnessed a vibrant celebration of the 479th birth anniversary of legendary philanthropist Bhamashah at Surya Sarovar Park, with large community participation.
Organised by Snehi Samaj, the event saw enthusiastic involvement from patrons, office-bearers, and local residents. The ceremony began with floral tributes to Bhamashah’s statue, followed by a collective pledge to imbibe his ideals of patriotism, unity, and selfless service.
The programme, chaired by Snehi Samaj President Dinesh Kumar Sah, was attended by prominent members including P.P. Shah, R.B. Sahu, Munshi Shah, S.K. Gupta, Laxman Nayak, Subodh Kumar, and Vinesh Nayak. General Secretary Dharmendra Kumar, along with vice presidents and other members, also participated in large numbers.

Speaking on the occasion, Sah highlighted Bhamashah’s historic role as a trusted minister and commander of Maharana Pratap. He recalled how his extraordinary financial contribution during Mewar’s struggle against the Mughals enabled the Rajput ruler to rebuild his forces and continue the resistance, making his sacrifice a defining chapter in Indian history.
Describing him as a symbol of generosity and patriotism, speakers said Bhamashah’s life continues to inspire generations to place the nation above self and contribute to society with integrity and commitment.
Concluding the programme, Sah thanked attendees and called for greater unity, urging people to follow the path shown by Bhamashah.
The event ended on a note of pride and inspiration, reaffirming the timeless relevance of his ideals in today’s society.
