
Bokaro: Calling Hindi a simple, useful and universal language, DVC Chandrapura Thermal Power Station (CTPS) Chief General Manager and Project Head Ramkumar Anubhavi urged employees to make Hindi an integral part of official work.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the ‘Hindi Fortnight’ programme at the power station on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. The event, organised by the DVC management and Official Language Implementation Sub-Committee, opened with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Anubhavi and senior officials.
A Hindi extempore speech competition was also organised as part of the celebrations.
Anubhavi highlighted Hindi’s historical importance and encouraged employees to use it consistently in their day-to-day official duties. Senior General Manager (O&M) Rajesh Kumar called for greater use of Hindi in administrative and technical work, along with proper documentation of its usage.
DGM (HR & Administration) Neeraj Sinha also urged DVC personnel to discharge their official responsibilities in Hindi.
The programme was conducted by Animesh Giri, while Ranjit Kumar Nirala, Pradeep Kumar Srivastava and Poonam Kumari formed the judging panel. Several DVC officers and employees attended the programme.
