European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to Visit India on February 27

New Delhi: President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will embark on a two-day visit to India starting February 27, marking her third visit to the country.

During her visit, she will hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of External Affairs confirmed. Discussions are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation across key sectors.

India and the European Union have been strategic partners since 2004, with ties expanding across trade, technology, climate action, and global security. The visit, accompanied by the EU College of Commissioners, aims to further enhance collaboration between the two sides.
