“Indradhanush”: Mithila Academy’s 34th Festival Shines with Culture and Talent

Bokaro: Mithila Academy Public School, Sector 4E, celebrated its 34th annual festival, Indradhanush, with a spectacular cultural showcase on Friday evening. The event, organized by the Mithila Cultural Council, saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, parents, and distinguished guests.

The evening began with a devotional Geeta Updesh performance by students, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, BSL Director-in-charge B.K. Tiwari, along with school officials including Hari Mohan Jha, Chairman, Pramod Kumar Jha, Secretary, and Ashok Kumar Pathak, Principal.

The highlight of the program was the impressive cultural performances, including a soulful Bhagwati Vandana, a dance on Ganesh Vandana, and traditional folk dances such as Jhijhiya and Nagpuri. Students also presented a mesmerizing dance tribute to Raj Kapoor, leaving the audience captivated.

During the event, Tiwari honored top-performing students with mementos for their academic and extracurricular achievements. In his address, he praised the Mithila Cultural Council for its significant role in Bokaro’s cultural and intellectual growth, emphasizing that the school’s values reflect the rich tradition of Mithila culture. He urged students to focus on hard work and ethics for lasting success.

In his speech, Principal Ashok Kumar Pathak encouraged students to pursue their dreams and make their parents and teachers proud, while President Hari Mohan Jha highlighted the cultural progress of the school.

The evening concluded with the national anthem, leaving a lasting impression of inspiration and unity. The annual function proved to be a memorable celebration of education, culture, and talent.
