News Desk: Chhattisgarh’s Sakti district witnessed a devastating industrial accident on Tuesday after a powerful boiler explosion at a Vedanta-operated power plant left at least 10 people dead and over 40 injured. Officials fear several workers may still be trapped under debris, raising concerns that the toll could rise.
The blast reportedly occurred in the afternoon at a boiler unit in Singhitarai village. Initial inputs suggest a rupture in a boiler tube triggered the explosion, impacting workers present at the site.
